Everyone learns at a different pace and has a different background with both swimming and working with children.  The time it takes to become competent ranges from person to person.
We recommend completing your practical supervised teaching hours as soon as possible following on from the 2 day course.
This assists in retaining information learnt and can see you complete your hours sooner.

All candidates should wear comfortable clothing for the theory sessions and a drink bottle.

For the practical in water sessions, candidates will be in the water, and suitable swimwear should be worn and we encourage candidates to bring goggles as well.
