At Just Swimming we believe that aquatic education can contribute to saving your child’s life. The ability to swim well is not only potentially life-saving but is also a core life skill that will provide lasting benefits and enjoyment to all Australians.
Our highly qualified instructors are passionate about providing essential water safety and life-skills, but ensuring positive experiences for your child. Our tailored programs are aimed at developing the ‘whole’ child, and deliver consistent results.
Just Swimming provides swimming programs for all ages, from babies to adults and is recognised throughout the aquatic industry as a leader. Every week we help 5500+ children become safer and more confident in and around the water.
Small Graded Classes
All new swimmers from our Starfish Program and above are assessed to make sure they are placed in a class which best suits their ability. Our structured lesson format and small class sizes ensure that each and every child is given focused attention to reach their potential.
Fun and Active Learning
All of our classes have been designed to balance fun, exercise, water safety and correct technique. It is important to make sure swimming lessons are fun whilst ensuring kids are learning how to swim well.
No Floaties
Although we use some aids, such as hand floats and kickboards, we don’t use arm bands and back bubbles in our classes. It is easy to develop a false sense of security when using these and this can be dangerous. They also tend to keep a child’s head and body in a semi vertical position, which develops bad habits.
Regular Updates
Feedback is important and that’s why we aim to provide all of our parents with an update on their child’s progress on an on-going basis. Just Swimming understands that your children’s safety is paramount and that you want to see progression!
World Class Teachers
In addition to attaining a nationally recognised qualification (AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia Teacher), all our teachers and coaches receive extensive in-house training exclusive to Just Swimming. On-deck Team Leaders and ongoing professional development provide additional support to our teachers so our team can provide the best lessons possible to the children. Just Swimming employs over 130 staff across 5 swim centres. Flexibility with scheduling of classes to suit your changing needs. We understand that family commitments may change throughout the year and so we offer multiple days and times for all the levels of our swim schools. Please speak to our Reception staff if you wish to change your lesson times/days.
