Currently more than 40 local schools use the resources offered by Just Swimming Nunawading to bring classes of school children in for 10 days of intensive swimming lessons during school terms.
Swimming Lessons are conducted for 50 minutes each day over a two week period and provide school students with a cost effective opportunity to develop their swimming and water safety skills.
At Just Swimming Nunawading, we cater for the whole school.
Facilities include:
50m pool (up to 5 lanes for school groups)
25m leisure pool suitable for younger grades
School changerooms
Seperate school gate for ease of access
Swim Classes are provided by Nationally Qualified swim teachers in a safe and friendly environment.
To further enhance the “Swim & Survive” program, Just Swimming has developed a parallel ‘skill-based’ set of competency standards. Swimmers are expected to achieve these skills in addition to the Swim & Survive requirements to complete the relevant levels.

Why choose to bring your school to Just Swimming Nunawading?
With our many years of experience in operating school swimming programs, we have the experience to operate and efficient, organised schools program.
We dedicate a Team Leader to each school, who is available pool side throughout the duration of your program. The Team Leader is available to assist with any requests that teacher and parents may have.
At Just Swimming, all grade 6 students have the opportunity to participate in achieving the Victorian Water Safety Certificate. The Victorian Water Safety Certificate is a certificate signed by the premier of Victoria and essentially shows that the participant has a quality understanding of swimming and water safety. Children who achieve this, are working at a level 4 standard of swimming. To receive the certificate, children must complete a clothed survival swim, answer a variety of water safety questions, complete a range of swimming rescues and a distance swim.
A competitively priced bus service can be provided if required.
We offer an extension program for children who require that little bit extra from their school swimming experience.
This includes activities such as resuscitation, snorkeling, water safety scenarios, raft making, water polo, safe diving and much more. Contact us today to find out about how we can cater to your schools requirements.
