Sophie is the Just Swimming Glen Waverley Aquatic Program Coordinator, and has been connected to the Aquatic Industry for a large majority of her life.

As a young child, Sophie began her Learn to Swim journey with Just Swimming. She very quickly discovered her love for the water, and 10 years ago, she turned it into a career that she loves and hasn’t left since.

Not only is Sophie an extremely qualified and dedicated Aquatic Program Director, she is also an extremely talented graphic designer, with a Bachelor of Communication Design from RMIT.

Sophie’s favourite part of her job is seeing the children’s happy, smiling faces during the lesson, and how proud they are, and their family is of them, when they move up a level or achieve a skill they have been working towards.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys swimming and reading, especially reading at the beach! Sophie also has a window art business called Little Picture Window, which she runs with one of her best friends.
